I have been licensed since August 1972 as G8GNI, but not particularly active until moving to my present QTH in the '90's. I am also licensed as M5AEX (October 1999) when the 5 wpm morse test was briefly introduced. I also hold the US callsign AC8HT.

I am currently active on HF using SSB, RTTY and PSK and VHF using SSB. I have dabbled with SSTV, amateur satellites and weather satellites but prefer data modes overall.

I am a committee member and Treasurer of CDXC (Chiltern DX Club).

I am semi-retired, having undertaken public policy research - mainly for government departments and primarily around employment and uemployment issues, state benefits, tax credits and pensions. I have five children, of whom two are licensed (Leo as M3DXL and Anthony as M6EGY). My wife Mona is also licensed as M6MNA.
